Two beautiful babies later… my husband and I are so grateful to Dr. Hartog and the nurses at Chelsea Fertility. It was nice to be at a smaller practice so you always know who you’re talking to on the phone and the nurse in the room with you. Great success! Changed our lives.

We have a beautiful, healthy baby girl thanks to Dr Gindoff talking me into doing a second round of IVF nearly ten years ago. Dr Gindoff, at the time I thought you were being salesy and pushy and years later I realized you were 100% right about everything and we are forever grateful.

Great bedside manners. They are efficient on steps and follow up and make you feel comforted like you’re not alone on your journey.

Chelsea Fertility is amazing! Its never great to hear that your health is struggling, especially with something like infertility, but this team is really wonderful. Theres so much support and information every step of the way that a very daunting experience can feel manageable and hopeful. I am grateful to have my future in their hands.

Towice doing this and they made the mistake and we have spend about 42,000 on treatment and Spencer medicine @ never they said sorry we did a mistake, if they made mistakes you have to pay for it, and thats it, they dont care.

I highly recommend Chelsea Fertility Clinic. Dr Hartog was very patient and thorough with me while explaining the Egg retrieval process. She made me feel comfortable during the consultation and the procedure. The office is space is clean and inviting. The staff is very kind.This is an updated review for 2024. This is still a great office.

I had a wonderful experience with Dr. Gindoff and Chelsea Fertility clinic. Everyone made me feel extremely comfortable throughout my whole IVF journey. Natasha, and Lexi are complete angels. I would highly recommend Chelsea Fertility to everyone!!

Dr. Beth and the entire Chelsea Fertility team were absolutely amazing! They were real professionals who provided top-notch service. From the day I walked in to start the process of freezing my eggs, Dr. Beth and my nurse, Natasha, answered all of my questions and made sure that I was comfortable and ready to proceed. I learned things that I never knew or had considered before, such as my “AMH” levels and how it played a part in my fertility. They made me feel comfortable throughout the entire process and were always available if I needed them. I would highly recommend them to any of my friends, family, and teammates.Thank you!

My wife is turning 41 in a week and is 15 weeks pregnant with a healthy baby boy thanks to Dr Hartog and Chelsea Fertility. We came to Chelsea Fertility after 3 failed rounds at a larger institution and it was such a relief to have the attention of a smaller staff, more direct communication and a tailor made plan. Dr Hartog had a totally different strategy that gave us a lot of hope and after two rounds we were successful. Nurses Natasha and Elaine are wonderful and attentive. We are so thankful!!!

Would not recommend this clinic at all. I met with Dr. Hartog and although she was knowledgeable in her field, my experience with her was negative. I only ever met/spoke with her during my consultation. During this time she kept referring to IVF as the only treatment option when she did not complete any diagnostic work up yet. She also did not speak about any other alternative treatments. Additionally, she never focused on testing my partner. I felt like the sole purpose of my consultation was to determine how much money my insurance would pay instead of focusing on the actual problem. Stay away if you value your time and money.

Dr Gindoff is the best!! Hes very attentive and VERYgentle which is needed. He did a great job with my first and Im back to do it again. Wouldnt have chose anyone else! Thank you Dr Gindoff.

Don’t use Chelsea Fertility if you are on your journey. I’ve never had a more costly, stressful, frustrating, dehumanising and unfruitful experience Dr Gindoff is rude, unprofessional and inept. The admin/ accounts team messed up BIG TIME with our insurance company leading to a very costly error that we had to bear. I left CF after one unsuccessful round. It’s only now, having used two other clinics, that I realise how what a terrible doctor Dr Gindoff is and what positive treatment can look and feel like. Save yourself the stress and heartache and look elsewhere.

I highly rate Chelsea Fertility and Dr. Gindoff who helped me and my husband earlier this year! The process was well explained and he was very kind to answer all of my (many) questions. The nurses Elaine and Natasha were incredible and I appreciated all of their support, well wishes and generosity during the process - including late night calls for last minute prescriptions! They really helped get me through what can be a daunting and unknown period of time. Seeing their smiles when we finally received the results we wanted was so exciting and rewarding! I cant wait to be back soon to grow our family :)

I had a wonderful experience with Dr. Gindoff. He was straightforward, helpful and very kind. I appreciated his candor and how we discussed the best plan moving forward. I felt he had my best interest in mind and put together a great care plan.

I can’t recommend Chelsea Fertility enough. I have my beautiful sweet daughter thanks to the wonderful staff here. I switched to this clinic after having a not-so-great experience elsewhere and felt like all my questions were answered thoroughly. They are always super responsive and helpful. We are working with them to conceive our second child and the process to get restarted was seamless. Their insurance specialist is great, reception is fantastic, and of course the nurses and doctors. No waiting weeks and weeks for an appointment. Your appointments are based on your cycle once you really get started. I really appreciate the personalized care. Even better, they work with my insurance (GHI) which dramatically reduced the price of my treatment. I am so happy we found this place.

Wonderful experience with the greatest staff. Elaine is an absolute gem! My husband and I are so grateful that the IVF process went so well. The doctors put me at ease and the care was top notched. Our son is simply perfection.

I visited Chelsea Fertility clinc with my wife and 13 hears old daughter for initial consultation. The staff and doctor we met were very professional, human and honest. The doctor gave us advice without any charges for consultation like if he is not in business to make money. Am sure some other doctors would have given us the reason to accept us and visiting their clinics for consultation and treatment just to get paid without minding that we did not need any treatment. My wife and my experience at Chelsea Fertility from start to end was phenomenal. The nurses, Elaine & Natasha were so caring and helpful. We saw both doctors, Dr Hartog and Dr Gindoff, and they were both great! We felt like we were being treated with such a high level of treatment and knowledge from the doctors. I would 10/10 recommend this clinic. So thankful to the whole team!

After a long journey full of emotions and tears with my husbands, our prayers were finally answered through Chelsea Fertility. Our experience was amazing, Dr. Gindoff and team were supportive, informative, & thorough. Carefully assessing & evaluating my anatomy Dr. Gindoff did not miss any details on addressing what treatment is best. I went to Chelsea Fertility after feeling unimportant and not taken seriously as a patient at a larger university affiliated practice. From my first visit at this private practice, it just felt different. Dr. Hartog and Natasha are so wonderful to work with. They are warm, caring, extremely thorough, listened to my concerns, and made me feel comfortable. I didnt just feel like another number. With their knowledge and thorough testing I was given the proper medication for my thyroid and antibiotics for endometritis (my previous practice didnt catch this) and I was actually able to conceive naturally. I am still only 7 weeks along, but that is further than I made it before coming to Chelsea Fertility (I had two miscarriages at 4/5 weeks prior to this). Thank you so much for everything!

Look no further and go here. The staff is so kind and thoughtful and walk you through every step of the process. I was recommended to this office by a colleague and I’m so glad I came. It’s made the process easier than I could’ve possibly imagined.

I was a pontintial donor. I was called into do a amh test was told that it was to see if I was a match to the intended parent and to call in a week to find out. I called they said my amh is great and they will pass my info to the coordinator and I’ll receive a call back. Never got the call back. Received a email and text to review them a week later. I was confused and called again where I was told I only took the test to be put into their potential donor list. Communication was all over the place and unclear. I’m only writing this review because I keep getting text and emails months later to write one. So here it is.

This is such a nice place. Dr. Hartog was very sweet and thorough when explaining the process. Stephanie at the front desk, Natasha and Elaine are also so kind, supportive and understanding. Glad to know that I can ask them any questions and they are happy to answer. Looking forward to having them help me create a baby of my own.

The end result speaks for itself! We are delighted to have welcomed a son in 2020 after only a single embryo retrieval. Perhaps a bit of luck due to our particular fertility issues, but I credit Dr. Gindoffs expertise for our success. The nursing staff is phenomenal and supportive and made sure we were prepared for every step of the process. A bit more out-of-pocket costs due to it being a private clinic, but we are happy with our decision to have used Chelsea Fertility.

Natasha is god send. Very helpful staff there to hold tour hand along the way.

I did treatment with Chelsea Fertility in 2021 during Covid. I was nervous at first due to the pandemic but from the moment I started treatment I felt like I was in safe hands. The staff were very pleasant to work with and guided me through the whole process. Something that seemed so daunting turned out to be seamless from the nursing to the doctors and even the billing. Good experience overall.

Editing my review in 2024 , to once again thank Chelsea Fertility for helping us expand our family. We now have two beautiful miracles I never thought we’d have. Thank you 🙏I just wanted to say thank you to Chelsea Fertility for making me and my husband’s dream come true. Today we have a beautiful baby boy thanks to God and Dr. Hartog. We were successful after our second round of IVF and so in love as we look into our miracle’s eyes. I wish everyone success and baby dust in the hard struggle that infertility can be. Thank you again Chelsea Fertility for making my dream a reality.

This clinic deserves negative stars. I came here for a round of egg freezing. From the very first zoom appointment all Dr. Hartog cared about was telling me that insurances does not cover fertility treatment. I work at EY and I was telling her that a lot of companies now offer extended benefits for fertility, and that my company pays 90% of costs. This took 20 minutes out of a 30 minute zoom. How about telling me about the process itself, and making me feel at ease? NOTHING! All she cared was to really ensure Im aware of costs and to fight me that I do not have coverage for fertility. This should have really been my first clue. Upon my first visit to their facility, I had my blood drawn. The nurse did not wear gloves. I thought maybe thats just a fluke. Upon my second visit the nurse did not wear gloves again. This should have been my second clue. Their insurance coordinator is not the friendliest one and also kept telling me that my insurance will not cover it. When she found out that it will cover it, it took her two of my period cycles to actually submit it correctly. When my next period came, I came to the facility to start the process. While my legs were in the stirrups, Dr. Hartog INCREDIBLY RUDLY told me that they are running a business here and need my full insurance approval before starting. I can understand the payment part and I would have worked it out when my legs werent spread. But to have so LITTLE decorum to talk to me about it while my legs are spread is HORRIBLE. Needless to say, I went to Columbia Fertility Center where amazing insurance coordinator was able to get everything pre approved through my insurance and I have a very kind doctor who explained WAY MORE than basically ZERO that Dr. Hartog Did. Do yourself a favor and stay away from the very rude Dr. Hartog and this entire facility.

If I could give no stars I would. While the Doctor Beth Harotg was a very sweet woman and lovely to speak with during our consultation, their front desk workers are rude and horrible. They would hang up with no warning, cut you off mid sentence and let us know they would call us back in five minutes and conveniently not call us back/we had to follow up 40 minutes later. Absolutely do not waste your time here.

Under alias: I was recently an egg donor at CF and the experience could have not been better. From the receptionist, to the (incredibly amazing) nurses, and the rest of the medical team, the entire staff was kind, attentive, respectful, educative and supportive thorough the process. The nurses Natsha and Elaine patiently guided me through the process, from shots, to calendars, explaining what the next steps were, and they were always available by phone if I needed extra help with the shots. They were very flexible with my schedule which I particularly appreciated since the process involves a bunch of visits to the clinic. If you are thinking about being an egg donor, this is your place!

I felt I would be remiss if I didnt share my experience at CF. For everyone going through the infertility journey I wish you all the best but caution you to know what youre in for here. out of date. The added stress this office caused me did not help at all with the already very real stressful process. People are not wrong when they say the billing is shady, if you dont know anything about billing codes, insurance, in network coverage and your policy, you probably have just believed them when they said you have to pay out of pocket. Just so you know, when you are in network with insurance, you never should pay out of pocket, you should receive a formal statement with billing codes and then your balance obligation. The nurses here are the reason I stayed. They care and are amazing and I picked CF for the boutique feel, but there is nothing personalized about the care here. While I respect the Dr having an opinion I would have preferred they didnt remind me what life could be like if I had a child with a full blown genetic disorder. Which I was fully aware of my case and would have respected a proper bedside manner rather than a reiteration of what my inherent genetic disorder could do. They even went as far as saying I could ruin my life. This is where I finally had it. Again, I stayed for the lovely amazing nurse, and am saddened that my experience couldnt have been a better one. I truly wanted to share my experience because my heart goes out to everyone struggling with fertility, it shouldnt be an ounce harder than it already is. Best of luck.

We had a great experience at the Chelsea Fertility Center. We had Dr. Gindoff who is one of the kindest and nicest doctors Ive ever met.He welcomed us into his clinic where we got to know him and he got to know all about us and our needs. He listened to us--really listened--and I could feel that we could really trust him and his team to help us to finally start our family.

I can’t recommend Chelsea fertility enough! I’ve had the pleasure of working with both Dr.Gindoff and Dr. Hartog and they were equally fantastic. They took the time to walk me through everything, answered all my questions, and made me feel comfortable and supported during my IVF journey. Aside from the doctors. The nurses Natasha and Elaine are simple the best! They were always available to answer my calls, walk me through the medications and talk me through challenging moments. I looked forward to seeing them each visit and am so grateful for all their support. Thanks toCF I have the most amazing baby and can’t wait to return for number 2! IVF is such an emotional roller coaster filled with ups and downs, and the staff at CF are top notch doctors and nurses who will go out of there way to support and help you through the process.

I started the process with Chelsea Fertility with high hopes that they would bring expertise, compassion and professionalism to the journey. Unfortunately, all but one of the team members at Chelsea Fertility was condensing, disrespectful and pressured me to make medical decisions under duress. After attempting to resolve the issues with the owners (Dr Beth Hartog and Dr Paul Grindoff) with no progress, Ive had to escalate the resolution to the New York Department of Health and move my medical needs to a different clinic. Both the Department of Health and the new clinic have shared that theyve never seen the level of ineptitude, mistakes, and lack of concern for following procedure that Chelsea Fertility has shown. I share this information in the hopes that others can avoid the physical pain, financial loss, and emotional distress that Chelsea Fertility causes without any remorse.

As with any couple who must turn to IVF to realize their dreams of building a family, my husband and I went through more than our fair share of disappointment and medical trauma before arriving at Chelsea Fertility. Due to my specific fertility concerns (DOR among them), I went through consultations with four different doctors at four different practices before finally finding Dr. Hartog and Chelsea Fertility. Dr. Hartog was the first physician I encountered who was willing to take a chance on me despite the (kind of terrible) odds, and now, following three IVF cycles over the last year, we have three PGT-normal embryos on ice and are working toward matching with a surrogate.CF is much smaller than many of the hospital-based IVF clinics in the NYC area, but that was exactly the environment I was looking for, and I loved that I never felt like just another number in a factory line. Dr. Hartog was consistently up to date on my case and she tailored my IVF protocols to my specific situation, making adjustments as necessary along the way. I always felt seen and heard, and the staff was more than willing to answer any and all questions I had. The CF nurses, Elaine and Natasha, could not be kinder or more helpful (even after hours). They consistently made me feel supported throughout what is a physically and emotionally draining process, and truly celebrated our success as if it was their own (and in a way, it was!). There is no one-size-fits-all answer for infertility treatment or IVF, but Id highly recommend at least consulting with Dr. Hartog and the team at Chelsea Fertility if its a road you find yourself on.

I gave the facility 1 star because I had to! because if I could write this review with zero stars that would be more appropriate because that’s what they deserve! They are the most unprofessional place and not at all interested in helping people start a family but instead just taking your money. Both of the doctors are cold and do not fully inform you of the process so you have to know what questions to ask because they will not let you know what you should be doing to better your chances to conceive (because the more times you try to get pregnant the more times you have to pay them). Please be careful of these scammers. There are hidden charges that they do not discuss with patients but will try and collect for! I wish I would have done my research on this place better before ever giving them one dime. There is absolutely a valid reason why they only have a 3 point rating!

I can not say enough good things about Chelsea Fertilely! Today I graduated after my first successful FET with PGT testing and it feels like just yesterday I had my first phone call with their nurse Natasha. She assured me that my high BMI would not be a problem and they would be able to proceed with me after a failed year of IUI at a Long Island clinic. A week later I was in the office and met the nurse Eileen who also made me feel so comfortable. Both nurses introduced me to Dr. Hartog and I instantly knew I was in good hands. After all their great advice, I listened and did everything I could! Now we are a year later and I am finally pregnant with my rainbow baby, that I was told I would had a very slim chance of having! Thanks to everyone here, my daughter can finally be a sibling and for that I couldn’t be more thankful. I will be back next year for my second embryo transfer and will miss them until then! If you are seeking IVF this is the place to reach out to.

My experience at Chelsea Fertility NYC was wonderful, even during Covid times. The nurses, Elaine and Natasha, were always super friendly and helpful. Dr. Gindoff, our main Reproductive Endocrinologist, was extremely up-to-date on the latest research. He was always proactive during treatment and I felt that our treatment plan was tailored to me and my situation (diminished ovarian reserve) rather than just a blanket protocol for all patients. Dr. Gindoff has his own published papers in Fertility and Sterility that he referenced for our final egg retrieval protocol. That protocol gave us our highest amount of PGS normal embryos! When we had a failed transfer, Dr. Gindoff did not hesitate to do a more intense diagnostic workup and adjust the protocol which led to our successful second transfer. Just as important as the doctors, Chelsea Fertility has an awesome embryology team that made us feel very confident with the ICSI process and the embryo biopsy for genetic testing. We now have a perfectly healthy Chelsea-made baby!

Please stay away. Theyll add to your emotional trauma. I paid out of pocket then my husbands insurance covered everything. Dr. Gindoff told me I would get only half of my payment because insurance didnt cover everything. I called the insurance company to confirm, they covered everything. When confronted about his lies, dr. Gindoff agreed to send me the payment in 2 portions. It has been over 2 months they are still stringing me along and havent sent me the second portion of my payment.

I can’t thank enough to Dr. Gindoff, nurses and all the staff!!I had been trying to get pregnant for 4 years but no any luck then I found this clinic.Doctor Gindoff found that I was diagnosed with chronic endometritis and he treated me accordingly.He always took time to have conversations with us when we had some questions.All the nurses and staff were very kind and supported me to go through the process.After went through few surgeries and medications, I was able to get pregnant naturally!!Thanks to them that now I have a beautiful baby boy with me! :D

All the staff at Chelsea fertility were kind and supposrtive. Dr Beth Hartog was our Dr and she was optimistic, kind and straightforward. She kept us positive when we had been through so much and didnt get the right care and support we wanted with another dr. They showed us compassion, understanding, and most importantly great bedside manner. They also made our dream come true of having a family. When others ask how we got pregnant I always refer them to Chelsea fertility clinic. I also plan on having them assist me with a second child. They gave us the greates gift of all! I will forever be thankful!

The staff at Chelsea was super helpful and very caring as well as the doctor. They made sure to ease me through this process and remained positive the entire time and now I am expecting my little baby. I can’t thank them enough.

I am using a pseudonym. The good reviews on this page were probably paid by the clinic. This clinic is shady, the doctor lied about how many eggs I had originally(6). Then, he realized there was only one egg. I said to myself okay, although I was already suspecting that they are a fraud. They called me one day stating that the egg did not fertilized but they will give it one more day to see what happens. They did not call me, and after 2 days I called to ask what was going on , I asked the nurse if the egg got fertilized or not and why nobody called me. The nurse said “oh, yeah it fertilized and we froze it” You froze it? You did not called me with the update, you did not called to tell me that you were going to freeze it on day 2, or 3 or anything. I had no idea of anything. Everytime I visited that clinic, I will leave more confused. In addition, Dr. Gindoff is shady, manipulative and insensitive. I had to refresh his memory everytime I visited about my status, me!!, because he does not even put on file what’s going on, he just take patients and lie and use them for money. The nurses will argue with the doctor in middle of the consultation telling him that he is wrong in front of me. But, that’s not all, there’s a nurse that will yell at clients and who had a heated argument with the office manager in front of everybody in the waiting room. Lastly, these were just some of things I went through there. But, I made sure to change clinics before continuing a second cycle.

I feel conflicted about this place and have concerns about its professional level. It is dirty and not well run. The lab is suspect.....I was a patient at Cornell prior and wanted to find something less factory- like. Chelsea seemed initially to have a smaller, warmer feel to it. The characters seem a bit ominous now in hindsight- and with an agenda if you may. They seemed extremely concerned with payments more than caring about patient health or legal paperwork which they never properly collected from me. Cornell is very dogged about these things and professional. Chelsea (despite its exterior) seems even more factory like in a sense and money-driven. I highly recommend Cornell after this experience. Do your research. I did not and spent too much money on a fairly quick, indifferent place which told me no center does PGS testing in NYC. That is very false. Cornell does PGS testing in their lab here in city. In any event please go elsewhere.

Staff was lovely, but had to follow up on my test results multiple times, it took double the amount of time quoted to receive the results, and then I was just told “everything was fine”. I was not told what the type of test was that was ran, I wasn’t told what they were testing for, nor did they offer to go the results with me. I had to follow up twice to even get the report.

I made an appointment a month in advance and provided all insurance information. When the appointment came they had us fill out all the paperwork and wait for 30 minutes for a doctor when an office manager came in and told us they didn’t take our insurance. It was a careless error on their part, a colossal waste of our time, and was completely avoidable with just a small amount of due diligence on their part. The only reason they got 2 stars and not 1 is because the office manager was at least apologetic.

I was referred to Chelsea Fertility from a friend. I have also shopped around the NYC area and ultimately decided to proceed with my service needs here. If you are looking for a boutique clinic with accessible nurses and help within a call away, this is the place for you.

DO NOT GO HERE! Gindoff is absolutely the most nasty, heartless doctor Ive ever met. After a failed egg retrieval, he has refused to refund me $2000 for PGS testing. He went so far as to fight with the credit card company that he did provide PGS. However, I have a voice-mail in which he states he never fertilized the egg and without a fertilized egg you CANNOT do PGS. I have been reaching out for almost 3 months on the matter and have received no response. In addition, he is not giving me my complete records. Again, despite weeks of reaching out, there is no response from the office. I have begun filing a misconduct report on him and plan on taking legal action. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS.

Ive been to multiple fertility places. This is the first time I felt welcomed and so pleased with the Dr. Dr Gindorf could not be more wonderful than he was. His team is absolutely the best and deffinately the warmest people ever❤️❤️ His consultation was free and most pleasing. I recommend him and his team to all!!!!

It was a really bad experience. I did two IVF cycles at Chelsea Fertility, but only ended up one transferable embryo out of two fertilized eggs (4 mature out of 7 eggs retrieved) in the second cycle; only one mature egg / 4 eggs retrieved in the first cycle, but it didnt make it to blastocyst. After I knew the negative pregnancy with that one and only one blastyco result in March 2020, I didnt hear anything from them, and it also took me three months to receive my medical record, after multiple email and phone call request. I had my third IVF cycle at another clinic, my new doctor said that I MAY BE overdosed. With only 25% medicine used, I had 9 mature eggs / 13 eggs retrieved, and 7 of them reached blastocyst stage. I paid much less for my third cycle, being monitored much more frequently and provided detail info, like the number of follicles and size of each at the new clinic. Chelsea never told me how many follicles I had, but only share me the sizes of the 2-3 largest ones. And each Chelsea visit, I was given my prescription before they knew my blood work result, which I found out after checking my lab result report. Normally, I finished my monitoring before 10:30, and picked my medicine around 11; but the lab result was not available until 1 PM. I think that is not a standard protocol. I really want to be refunded, IVF is so expensive, Chelsea should act more professionally. I DO NOT recommend Chelsea Fertility.

This would have been many stars had I not had such a terrible time trying to get my medical records. My insurance started covering fertility, and I needed to switch to another practice. I called 7 times over 4 weeks to get my records faxed and they kept putting me off. This is Illegal. I was so frustrated, but wasted enough time on them. I eventually gave up and retook the tests. Not cool.

Love that place(Dotors,nurses and the front desk)3 years ago they had the best price in the whole city plus the they also have a company that would leand you the money.I have to said this clinic is perfect to me. My daughter is Almost 2 years old 😍🤗 now working on the next one.

I do not recommend this clinic, the doctor is very inexperienced, I wasted a lot of money and time and I never had good news

The IVF process went ok enough. The storage rates for embryos are absurd. Theres much cheaper places!

I would literally give this place 0 stars if I could. My wife and I went into the office for a consultation. The doctor came in and without even looking at our paperwork and asking 1 question diagnosed my wife with a disease and stated the only way to fix it is with drugs. Just a drug pusher trying to make people pay outrageous prices. Do not go here. Go to a real doctor that actually cares about your well being.

I personally had the worst experience here the worst I would never ever recommend this place nor the services. they promised boutique services and great personalized care. one time I was left in a freezing exam room for an hour (I actually called the front desk from my cell to see if they forgot about me) just to have the doctor say oh sorry I was on a conference call... just one of the many issues I had with this place!!!! He also forgot my entire case and kept pushing services that I didnt need yet
