Matt is awesome. Keeps you updated during the procedure and ensures you experience minimal discomfort. Explained everything and made sure there were no surprises even during the operation.There was definitely some pain for me, but I am pretty resistant to anesthesia. Definitely recommend the nitrous as a secondary relief but also as an emotional aide (sounds weird but having something to focus emotions into is helpful).

Dr. Matt Pflieger made the experience as easy and comfortable as possible. I was in and out in 20 minutes. I was very nervous and he did a great job explaining everything and calming me down. They even give you a care package with everything you need(extra gauze, antibiotic ointment, Tylenol and ibuprofen, frozen peas and a nice bar of soap). Truly a 5 star experience. Dr. Matt is a master of his profession! I drove an hour and 30 minutes to the clinic and I was there for about 20 minutes total. I was extremely nervous and just waiting for excruciating pain the entire time. There was just a little bit of tugging but no pain at all. A couple hours after the procedure I just felt a minor dull ache that was managed with the pain meds given to take home from the clinic. I’m on day 2 right now and feeling great (no pain whatsoever). My wife was in the room the entire time and I was even asked what type of music I wanted to listen to during the procedure. This whole procedure with Dr. Matt is worth more than 5 stars. If I had to do it over, I would still choose the Happy Dad Vasectomy Clinic!

The procedure was very simple and painless. I was shocked at how easy it was when it was done. When they say its about 30 minutes, thats from the time you walk in the door until you walk back out the door. The procedure itself was only 7 or 8 minutes and you dont even feel anything happening.Definitely a good idea to lounge around for a few days after and there is a little soreness for a few days.

My husband just recently got his vasectomy done here , I was able to be in the room with him . I had a great experience! I think as good as it could be for the procedure. I was in and out in 40 minutes. I got the gas and would recommend that. Almost no pain during the procedure. Mostly some mild discomfort. I have been pain free since he finished. Just plan on taking it easy for a couple days. Im 24 hours post op as Im writing this. I highly recommend happy dads!

First off, i am a giant sissy when it comes to anything doctor or dentist related. I put this off for almost 10 years and sure wish i would have done it sooner. My appointment was at 10:00am, got there about 9:45, and was in my car at 10:08am. I opted to NOT use the gas and still felt absolutely zero pain. Actually quite impressed with the procedure because it literally only took 25 minutes from the time I walked in to when I drove away. There was very minimal soreness with virtually no pain afterwards. I would recommend to a friend.

My husband started with a very bad experience with his primary physician that morning. He felt 100% of the pain and they couldnt get to the cords as they were to deep. After 1 hour of digging his PCP gave up and told him to follow up with a specialist or urology. On our way home he called Dr. Matt at happy dads and he asked him to come in right then as he had a cancelation and could see him right then! It took Dr Matt only seconds to locate the cords and he stated he could complete the procedure right then without issue! It took Dr Matt only 15 minutes to complete the procedure and my husband was 100% pain FREE!!! From the time he walked in the door at happy dads to the time he left was only 30 minutes! If you’re skeptical because every review is pretty much 5 stars.. don’t be, because here’s another 5 star review. My appointment was at 9AM - I arrived at 8:52AM and left at 9:12AM. As far as the actual procedure goes, everything was very smooth and there is truly MINIMAL pain after. If you’re looking for a top notch doctor/place to get your procedure, look no further. You won’t regret it!

I had an appointment set up for 9am this morning. I walked in at 8:44am and was back in my truck at 9:08am. Its been 5 hours since my procedure and here I am, laying in bed thinking to myself how is it possible that I have no pain? I keep telling myself that I am supposed to have pain but I just dont have any! Its like magic, honestly. There was a little discomfort the first couple hours after the procedure but it all gone. I am so impressed I cant believe I didnt do it earlier.

I have the same story as everyone else, in and out in less than a half hour, Dr. Matt explained everything, was super personable, made conversation during the procedure with both small talk for comfort but also what he was doing and what I can expect to feel during that time. Operation itself was uncomfortable at worst (I did not opt for the laughing gas). Im currently 24 hours from operation, had taken the ibuprofen and tylenol yesterday out of precaution but have done nothing today and feel no pain, have no swelling or bruising as of now. Dr. Matt just sent me a follow-up text for checkup and Im so happy with his service I had to jump on and review.

I was your average hesitant skeptic regarding how smooth this procedure could go. All 300+ 5 star reviews saying it went amazingly well wasnt fully enough to convince me. But it was, no joke, so little pain. Literally in and out in under 30 minutes. I took it easy the first full day but by day 2 was pleasantly surprised how well I felt and didnt feel like I even needed any more pain meds. The care package you get exemplifies how hard they work to make your entire experience as quick, painless, and easy as possible.

I had been thinking about getting a vasectomy for years, and just kept putting it off. Dr. Matt really made the process easy, and I’m so glad it’s done. I was able to schedule my appointment online, and the pricing was straightforward, which was a major concern for me as I don’t have insurance. The doctor is the best, and while everyone’s body is different, personally I had zero pain. I haven’t even needed to open the bottles of Tylenol/Ibuprofen provided with my post procedure care package.The most challenging part of the process was my drive from Indianapolis, but for anyone in the area who is thinking about it, it’s totally worth the trip. You also get your test kit the day of your appointment, which is really convenient.

Everything youre worried about... forget it. Its seriously not that bad. Dr. Matt is great and the whole process is simple and almost entirely painless. I walked in and out within half an hour almost as if nothing had even happened. I started the process of having a vasectomy through the local hospital system but I was going have to wait months just to get a mandatory consultation meeting before even scheduling the actual operation, and with no idea how much insurance would actually cover. Happy Dad was cheaper and so much more convenient. This is where you want to go.

Absolutely incredible. Deserving of nothing less than 5 stars. I arrived 15 minutes early and was immediately greeted and taken back. Dr. Matt sets the bar for medical ability and comfort. He explained things in detail, but in such a way it was easy to understand. The procedure, the side effects, etc. He even messaged me the next day to check in! It was incredibly comfortable and I was in and out almost before my actual scheduled time. 15 minutes tops. They give you a care kit with everything you could need and more, and a kit for testing after 3 months. If youre looking into getting a vasectomy, GO HERE.

If youre nervous dont be. Get the Nitrous, worth the extra 50 bucks, prodecure took 10 minutes, it felt like 2. Dr. Matt was great, very professional. The procedure was pain free, and even the following three days, I experienced what could be described as very mild pain, Ive honestly had worse cases of blue balls. Use the frozen peas on your junk on the way home, and take the pills they give you, youll be fine.

Super nice, super friendly, and super fast. Dr. Matt did the procedure with absolutely no issue. Only one time did I feel a slight sharp bit (Ive popped pimples that hurt way worse) and he immediately added more numbing. From then on I felt absolutely nothing at all. Yes, its scary, yes you can talk yourself out of multiple times. However, from start to finish, it took a week to get in, which in itself seems like a miracle. When they say in and out average of 30 minutes, they mean it. From reception to completion I never felt pressured, rushed, all questions answered and one of the best bedside manners I have ever come across. Great experience, from scheduling to follow-up. Very easy to schedule, and the procedure took 30mins max. No pain during procedure, and only minor discomfort afterward. I didnt have much as far as questions but I could tell Dr. Matt would have easily resolved any concerns. At first I was skeptical of a place with this many 5 star reviews, but they deserve it. Talked to a friend who went there before I made my appointment and he said it was true as well. Dr. Matt goes all out to make sure everyone is comfortable before, during, and after the procedure. Even got a text from him the next morning making sure everything was fine. 100% would recommend to anyone looking to get a vasectomy. Very relaxed atmosphere which really helped with pre-procedure nerves, plus being able to choose what music you want to listen during was a great added bonus to make you feel comfortable. Plus the care package they give you is great.

A totally professional, efficient and comfortable process and procedure. The receptionist was wonderful in greeting and directing me to the procedure room. The doctor did a great job explaining the process to me. I did request nitrous oxide...and I strongly recommend it to everyone as it just eases your mind and what minor stings you may have are all but gone. The entire process was maybe 29 minutes. I followed the post procedure guidelines to the letter. Frozen peas given to you work work wonders for swelling if any. Take the provided ibuprofen regularly as I did. Overall I had zero pain during the procedure and zero pain or discomfort after the procedure. Best decision I made to use this clinic!!!

Highly recommend Dr Matt Pflieger and the Happy Dad vasectomy clinic. They were great to deal with before the procedure, during the procedure and even after. They walk you through everything and just make the process so easy. The experience that Dr. Pflieger has makes the procedure go by really quick. I was in and out in less than thirty minutes. I was even able to drive an hour and a half home with no problem. Following their instructions the healing process has been a breeze. Again highly recommend.

Like many other of the reviews mention I had putting this off for several years just due to the awkwardness and being a guy were just naturally protective of what happens down there. I opted for a Valium 1 hour prior and we walked in about 9:35 for a 9:45 appointment. We were shown immediately back to a clean comfortable exam room. I spoke with Dr.Matt, signed off, and he gave me my choice of music as he completed the procedure with NO (and I mean NO) pain whatsoever. Hes a true master of his trade. I chatted during mostly because I was still a bit nervous and before I knew it he surprised me with OK your all done. In disbelief that is was so quick and smooth I looked at my watch as we were leaving - It was 10:05 so it probably took him less than 10 min for the actual procedure. The first day was the mildest of discomfort which is to be expected, but I did absolutely nothing for 2 days per recommendation. I watched movies, enjoyed some cocktails, and relaxed on the couch. I want to address a couple things in this review. First off, I am 26 with no kids. My wife and I have been talking about this for some time, and we finally made the decision to get a vasectomy. It took a lot of thinking, but we got it done. Just for the guys wondering if not having kids is okay or acceptable you have to do what is right for you and live your life how you want it!I got it done at the end of August, so I am writing this about a month and half after the procedure. I was pretty nervous to say the least. And I wont say that it was totally painless. During the procedure, I felt a lot of pressure in the beginning. That was the doc just finding everything he needed to. The numbing wasnt bad at all. The best way I can describe it is when you get the puffs of air in your eyes at the eye doctor. It doesnt hurt, you just kind of flinch a little. There was a little pressure during the procedure, but nothing I couldnt handle again.Recovery was pretty smooth. I was a little sore for about a week, but now I couldnt even tell you I had it done. No pain, no incision, no nothing, and everything feels the same. From the time we walked in the door to the time we walked out, was 26 minutes. I was probably in the chair for 15 minutes. Very fast process. I would highly recommend Happy Dad, and if you are a research fool like I am, and research everything, rest assured that this is the place to go!

I read up on their no scalpel no needle approach and was intrigued, but being 3 hours away I figured I could find the same thing much closer. Nope. Anywhere near me was the old fashioned, from the 1960s procedure. So I made the appointment drove the 3 hours each way and couldnt be happier with the results. During the procedure, there was no pain whatsoever. He was half done before i knew he had even started!!!! Post procedure, very VERY minimal discomfort. I wouldnt even really call it pain it was so minor. The good Doctor even shot me a text the next day checking up on me! The office is very clean and modern. And Dr. Matt truly makes you feel at ease. If youre considering a vasectomy, please at least call and talk to the good people at Happy Dad Vasectomy Clinic. I promise, you will not regret it.

Everything went smoothly and Negative tests. Couldnt have been an easier procedure. I was nervous going into it, but they made this relaxing enough to make the time fly and in and out within 30 minutes. Cant recommend enough and pricing is super affordable for what you are getting.

My husband went in for a procedure. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. The doctor was wonderful. He let us pick the music and talked through the procedure the whole time. He even checked on my husband the following day (which was a Saturday) to make sure he was feeling okay. He also sent my husband home with a take care kit which was really nice. I was scared as all hell before getting IT done but my fears went away as soon as I got into the office. The process didnt take long and I didnt feel any pain either. These are good people at this location and Matt knows what he is doing. If your feeling afraid and unsure just know your boyz are in good hands here, pun intended. Great experience... simply NO BIG DEAL! A tetanus shot hurts worse than this! Dr. Matt was great. Super easy. The whole thing took less than an hour and the procedure itself could not have been more than 10 minutes. It was considerably less out of pocket expense than my health insurance would have required. DO IT!

Went in and got a vasectomy today, didnt hurt like I thought it would and was faster than a haircut. If your thinking about it and know you dont want anymore kids Happy Dad Vasectomy did an excellent job at making me feel comfortable. :) And even with no insurance its only 700$, the after care box they give made me smile and I love the soap and frozen peas made me laugh and smell great, for my experience I have no bruises the hole was hard to find and it wasnt painful to clean. Quick in and out in less than half an hour, I am less than 24 hrs post procedure and have no pain or issues. Slight discomfort the evening of, nothing a bag of peas could handle. Doc P. is very accommodating and more than happy to answer any questions, he called to consult me personally, he sent me home with a care package as well as a next morning text to check in me. Would give a 10 out of 10 and suggest anyone make the trip to have him take care of you. I drove 2.5 hours from home to get this done and do not regret it..... UPDATE had my 2 month post op sample tested and Im happy to report zero swimmers were found. So a complete success.

I had the vasectomy done yesterday. I had an appointment at 11:00 am and I arrived about a half hour early and they got me in pretty much right away. The woman at the front desk was very nice. The doctor is nice and explained everything about the procedure up front and answered any questions. The procedure was pretty quick. I was pretty sore last night and a little this morning but I feel great other than that. I would recommend them to any guy out there.

I just had surgery yesterday and Dr. Matt was really nice to work with. Most places you meet with a nurse and they explain things to you, but not here he greets you and explains everything before the procedure. Had a vasectomy last week at Happy Dad and the name is certainly appropriate. I can’t manage to find a complaint. They accommodate your schedule as best able, give you plenty of info/answer any questions, and I didn’t have to wait a bit - the whole procedure didn’t take more than an hour. I followed the icing/resting recommendations and was able to return to work a few days after the procedure just fine. If I were to have any problems with it, they seem like they’d be quick to help. The staff is great, I recommend the place to all. Happy Dads all around!

The only appointment I needed to make time for was for the procedure itself. When it came time for the procedure, I walked out of the building only about 20 minutes after walking in, and there was almost no pain or discomfort, during and after the procedure. After signing some paperwork the procedure itself took less than 15 minutes and again almost zero pain. Quicker and easier than a routine dentist visit. Just ice up and take it easy for a couple of days to allow for healing.

As a very squeamish fella, any medical procedure is intimidating to me. Dr. Matt and his staff do a fantastic job of being very friendly and accommodating, making the patient feel as comfortable with the process as possible. Like most men, I was not a huge fan of the idea of the procedure because a vasectomy is a lofty proposition. No more ability to have kids? Voluntary sterilization? Hard pass. However, once I discovered Dr. Matt at Happy Dad, read reviews and asked the receptionist how the procedure actually worked, I decided this was the kind of place for me. There was obvious trepidation regardless, but the procedure was quick, easy, and mostly painless (The numbing process feels like some light rubber band slaps.) Probably not a fantastic idea, but I even ran a 5k three days after the procedure with little to no residual pain. You heal up fast. Just do it, pay the money. Well worth it. You also get a nice little gift box with some frozen peas, triple antibiotic ointment, a home test kit to make sure no swimmers(after two months), and some nice soap. Thanks Dr. Matt.
