My experience was great. I took my son several times. I loved this center. Great treatment and understanding. They care about small and big details. I advise everyone to go there. You will not regret it. The staff at the reception are great and the nurses and doctors are extremely respectful and wonderful.

I had an exceptional experience at the Centers Urgent Care of Bay Ridge facility and wanted to share my gratitude for the outstanding care I received. From the moment I walked in, I was impressed by how clean and well-maintained the facility was—it even smelled great!The staff truly went above and beyond to create a welcoming and professional environment. The gentleman at the reception desk greeted me warmly, setting the tone for the rest of my visit. The medical assistant who took my vitals was kind and attentive, and the nurse practitioner provided thorough and compassionate care.What stands out the most is how consistent the quality of service is here. I love this particular urgent care so much that I willingly travel all the way from Bedford-Stuyvesant just to be treated at this location. It’s rare to find a healthcare facility that combines efficiency, cleanliness, and such a friendly atmosphere, and I highly recommend Centers Urgent Care of Bay Ridge to anyone in need of medical attention.

First time using the facility. Very convenient location for me and expands the number of choices when seeking medical attention. Intake was very easy and pleasant. Was able to see the practical nurse very quickly. She listened to my my symptoms and made the correct diagnosis and prescribed appropriate medication.

We went to see about an allergic reaction to an antibiotic. We went in right away and the assistant was very thorough and vrryr kind. The doctor was very caring and understood what the problem was and prescribed medication to reduce the inflammation and ease the pain. Great place.

Best urgent care experience in recent memory. Everything was clean, organized, fast, and everyone I interacted with was cordial. Will definitely be coming back when I need it!

I took my son in for an eye issue and was really happy with our experience. There was very little wait time. The waiting room was clean and spacious. The medical and support staff were friendly, helpful and thorough. So pleased there’s a good urgent care center in Bay Ridge! Would recommend!

This place is a JOKE with a capital J! First and foremost I came here because I tested positive on a home test for Covid and needed a PCR result for work. The initial girl who came in (I presume maybe a nurse’s aid) swabbed me, waited about 2 minutes, looked at the test and left. At this point as I am sitting and waiting for the nurse practitioner to see me I get a message from Center’s Urgent Care saying my results were in. How on earth can this be when I haven’t even seen the medical provider yet??? The NP comes in very relaxed with no mask. She walks over to the test and is like oh my goodness you have Covid, absolutely stunned. She then runs to put a mask on. Ridiculous, obviously a Covid result takes more than 2 minutes to come up! I then tell her she needs to change my lab results in the system because the other girl had already put a negative result!! To make matters WORSE I was told I had a $10 copay which I paid on the spot. They’ve been hounding me via email and letters for another $40 because apparently the copay “should have actually been $50.” What?! They recently threatened to send this to the credit union. This place is completely unprofessional and disorganized! Disgusting business.

I was a bit skeptical at first but after spending twice as much money with my own PCP who spent about 5 minutes with me and in the end prescribed an over the counter medication I’d been taking for 3 days and didn’t work. I went to Centers Urgent Care of Bay Ridge, which was the best decision I’ve made all week. They were friendly, quick and I left there actually feeling better than when I walked in an hour earlier. No kidding. They were great. I would definitely recommend.

Absolutely avoid this place if you can. The providers here do not know what they are doing and are dismissive. I went twice before Christmas, with clear signs of an infection in my throat and ear. Twice the providers barely looked at my throat and said it was viral and to treat with over the counter. They said I was negative for strep and refused to give me antibiotics, even though I said I was in excruciating pain, the over the counter meds were not helping with the pain at all, had a fever, and one provider agreed they saw spots on my tonsils. I got increasingly worse over the next week, but couldnt get an appointment with an actual doctor until New Years Eve. When I finally got to the doctor, he said I clearly had a massive infection, which spread to my ear and needed antibiotics. I finally got the medicine I needed over a week after originally going to this urgent care. I had to pay 2 copays at a medical center that could not even identify an infection and refused to provide care. I guess they do not know that there are other bacterial infections besides strep throat.

Super friendly and kind staff. Took my kid there today for treatment and super quick service. Very clean environment, the place smell clean and fresh air circulating. Everyone there is very professional. Definitely recommended.

Very professional staff, especially Joselyn at the front desk, she was very accommodating, extremely helpful and understanding. I honestly can’t say enough about her. Very pleasant and fast passed experience overall including the doctor and the nurse as well. Would definitely recommend!

As a first-time experience, I have to say this urgent care was amazing. Quick service, no forms to fill out, quick process for newbies, and staff were super happy to assist. I thank them for the great experience. Highly recommend.

My experience is NOT what I expect in this location! Front desk was very helpful and the environment is very clean . I was also taken care of super fast in and out BUT the so call doctor didn’t know what exactly to give and that through me off ! Had to call my pharmacy to ask what medication I was provided last time I went . I do appreciate the effort but NEVER returning

The receptionist was amazing! The doctor on the other hand not so much. I heard the nurse give a report to him on my daughter’s chief complaint as to why we were there and I can hear him complaining that she hasn’t been symptomatic for 24 hours. He came into the room and was professional but he tells me her tonsils aren’t swollen. I would be shocked if they were considering they were removed when she was 5.

The clinic is clean. The ones in the front desk are friendly and accomodating. I remember one, Rayna. Gayle was good in having my blood draw because she just had one try, and I didnt get any pain. One tried 2 times and was not successful and didnt even say anything after it caused me pain. Shirley had tried once only too but its painful a bit. She was nice though. She kept on apologizing to me that I need to go back again there because something happened to the lab samples. In the end, I got 4 pricks and 2 bruises for 2 blood draws, thats just supposed to be one. Sigh! The next day after my second visit, Peter called me to tell me that the lab results were there already. Ill be coming back to have my form filled out completely soon. Elise was the one who filled out the first part of my medical exam form and she was professional.

I took my son to Centers Urgent Care today and could not be more satisfied. I give them a perfect score for each step: a prompt and courteous check-in, a spotless environment, an efficient MA and knowledgeable doctor. We were there probably about 15 minutes. My son was properly diagnosed and a prescription was sent to our mom and pop pharmacy. Kudos!I was so happy that I posted about my experience on Bay Ridge Talk. Much deserved!

Ive been here a couple of times for myself and my kids and never had a bad experience until yesterday. The front desk staff and nurses are always wonderful and friendly. We went in because my daughter had a cough and fever. We were seen by PA Amanda Lanter and while she checked my daughters ear she hurt her ear and my daughter let out a scream and started crying then seconds later says can you breathe in and out for me while my daughter is still crying from the ear pain that she caused. Ive never had an experience like this before and my daughter has been complaining about her ear all night and day. So now I have to take a trip to her pediatrician to make sure her ear is ok.

Was taken cared of in 15 minutes. Receptionist was quick and efficient. The Dr was courteous, professional and knowledgeable. TY will definitely go again if need be.

Very satisfied overall. After my initial check-in at the front desk, there was little wait time before I was called into the examination room. Examined by a medical assistant first, followed by a PA who treated me. Facility is a clean and spacious environment. Would use again if needed and would strongly recommend to others.

Today we had to take our daughter to this urgent care and Will not be coming back. When they let us in, the nurse had an attitude and was being very mean. So far the only nice part of this visit was the lady on the front desk, she was very nice and helpful. Once we walked into the exam room, the nurse again showed a lot of attitude. The stool from the exam bed was out for kids to get on the bed easier, but lightly tripped on it and then kicked it in so hard that my toddler got scared of her. For the rest of the visit, toddler was scared of her and didnt want to see her. Then she stepped out and the Dr. Huynh Huy and checked her. Turned out she pink eye so he said that he will prescribe drops for her. I asked if there was a chence he could give us ointment, sincenit would be easier to give her rather than drops. He asked why I have a problem with giving her drips and showed much attitude. He still managed to prescribe drops so I had to call the urgent care for then to change it. The only nice part of our visit was the lady on the front desk who was willing to help and was very polite. People with much attitude should not be working with people especially with kids.

My sister came in for some bloodwork and cold like symptoms. The MA and front desk was courtesy and attentive however felt like the provider didn’t really care and rushed her visit. Not once did he exam her or even made the attempt to, only prescribed her medication andsent her on her way.

The front desk and assistant were both great. They were competent, professional, and kind. The doctor, however, was awful. I went in sick with a sore throat, headache, and I was having trouble taking a breath. She came in the room, stood cross armed while asking what was wrong, shined a light down my throat and said, “yeah, it’s red. It’s probably viral. Drink lots of fluid and get some rest.” She then left. She was in the room for maybe 45 seconds. I’m sure it was viral, but if a patient says they’re having trouble taking a breath, I’d think you should at least listen to their breathing just to double check. She didnt lay one finger on me to examine me. The place wasn’t busy. When I left the exam room (after gathering my belongings) she was already sitting back at her desk.

I came in with a persistent cough and chest congestion. The provider dismissed my concerns, shinned his flashlight at my throat for less than a second, barely listed to my lungs, and told me “it’s a virus. Take musinex and drink lots of water.” I have since gone to a different clinic, got the medication I needed and felt instantly better two days after taking the meds. The provider also had awful bedside manner. I will never go there again, and I will tell anyone the truth about this place if asked. You need to vet your providers before hiring them.

These days you usually have to wait weeks to get an appointment with your Doctor or waste a whole day in a emergency room. A place like this fills an important need for an immediate problem (Covid booster, flu shots, minor medical problems). Not long waiting time, very competent medical staffs.

I went to Centers Urgent Care of Bay Ridge for a COVID test in August. Four months later I get a bill from a lab in Flushing, Queens I never heard of. The bill says that Urgent Care ordered their services for me. I was unaware this was happening and did not consent to this. Why am I in the dark about my own care and the associated costs? Why should I have to pay unexpected hidden charges because of this place?

Upon entering staff was very friendly and inviting. By far one of the cleanest offices I have seen. I was seen within minutes of getting there. Highly recommend.

I love to eat good 😁 However in the evening, after delicious pancakes, I came with severe pain in my stomach, mistakenly thinking that the problem was with the pancreas.I am very grateful to the doctor Antonio Torres, who suggested appendicitis and immediately sent me to the emergency room.All the specialists at the center were very polite and caring.

The office is spacious, clean, and the staff work quickly. But, unfortunately, I cannot give a high assessment of the work of the staff, because I did not receive a full examination for my cold. Yesterday I had to come here because my primary doctor couldnt see me. I had: fever, chills, muscle aches and severe cough, which was my main concern what I told them. They took tests for covid and all viruses, but refused to do a bacterial test, as they said there were no symptoms. I told them that I didnt have a runny nose, and it looks more like a bacterial infection. And today I got all the negative tests for viruses, covid and respiratory infection. I dont understand why it was so difficult for them to take a test for strepto or other bacteria. After all, now I am so frustrated and nervous, and I don’t have the opportunity to take antibiotics, which I need for bronchitis, tracheitis, etc.... what I obviously am suffering from(((

Im new to the neighborhood and I greatly appreciated the friendly staff. The nurse and doctor listened intently and I was in and out in less than an hour. Would highly recommend this urgent care center to anyone who asks.

Place is clean and receptionist is always nice. Never really a wait time. Today, the PA was nice but he sent my sons medicine to the wrong place which made me double the trip to where I need to go. We even triple confirmed the pharmacy and yet he still managed to send my kids medicine to the wrong pharmacy. Dropped a star for that.

I went here to follow up on a procedure because my doc was closed for the weekend, and highly recommend. From the first interaction at the front desk through meeting with the nurse and PA, everyone was kind, considerate of my concerns, and professional. Thank you all!

My experience with them was fantastic. They were professional and really nice. Highly recommend if you need an urgent care center. They are the best in Bayridge and Dyker heights.

I had a very strange experience at this clinic with cold/flu symptoms. I arrived early with nobody in the waiting room and I was seemingly the only person there. Dr. Huynh rushed through the exam, not using a stethoscope, checking my eyes, ears, lymph nodes or in my nose despite me reporting symptoms there. He did quickly check my throat. When I got home later I reviewed the summary of the visit to see he claimed he did a thorough physical exam when he did not. I called the office back to request that they amend the chart as it has incorrect information. When Dr. Huynh called me back he was incredibly curt, asking me if I was a medical provider. When I told him pointedly that I wasnt, he quickly said hed change the chart and hung up on me. Consider this a warning to any patients here (or elsewhere) to check your chart and make sure what they said happened during an exam actually did happen. I certainly wont be returning to this urgent care given how lax the compliance for medical reporting is here.

This is my 2nd time there. Loved this place — very clean. Front desk lady was very Pleasant and very Professional. I was in and out in 1/2 hr. PA was very nice as well. Will definitely go there again if need be.

I am a resident of Bensonhurst and after reading the reviews by the Urgent Clinic near me I opted to go to one in Bay Ridge. The staff is polite and efficient and the clinic extremely clean. The wait to be seen by the nurse assistant and doctor was minimal. I would highly recommend.

Receptionist was great girl that took me into room was great and the NP was really great! She was very personable.

This place is fantastic evidence of how far “healthcare” has declined in this country. Everything here is a money grab and they don’t even bother to check insurance authorization before you check in and try toscam you out of a visit fee if they can’t sort your insurance out.Don’t waste time your time or money here.

Updated Review: I went to this urgent care to get my finger stitched up. I also needed a urine test which i did before getting stitched up. It was extremely awkward even though I tried very hard to use the wipes and do everything properly. It was no surprise that I got a somewhat judgey call telling me that my test was full of bacteria. I got that test redone elsewhere. My tetanus shot was not covered by my insurance.Otherwise, I received excellent care here. The staff was extremely professional, stitched me up and sent me home.

This place is usually reliable and I get seen quickly, however one of the doctors, I believe there is one female doctor who works there that didn’t really take my eye symptoms too seriously after a viral infection and coming in 2x, and I ended up having very intense pink eye the next day. I just went to a new urgent care the next day to prevent from going to the same urgent care 3 times in a row.. The other staff is great, just could have caught this infection sooner…

Phenomenal experience at this new urgent care center in Bay Ridge! The receptionist Reina was so helpful, smart, attentive, and supportive throughout the process and PA Tiffany was by far the most knowledgeable, experienced, intelligent, and thorough medical professional Ive ever seen at an urgent care center or hospital. I cannot give enough praise and appreciation for the swift and caring experience while struggling with pneumonia. Outstanding team! Highly recommended, highly appreciated.

I had cut my finger badly with a chainsaw (my finger was still intact, but with extremely deep cuts) … rushed to this urgent care and immediately got treated. I was also sent out and finished no more than 30 minutes later. Doctor was transparent with all that was being done, provided tons of helpful advice and insight without any trouble. I was genuinely shocked to how fast I was treated. The doctor was also extremely patient in listening. Even though I had probably repeated the same thing over and over, the doctor understood the shock and adrenaline was present enough, and the doctor constantly listened and answered every question/statement for me. It was genuinely calm, straight to the point, and a truly painless experience.

I took my mom there she has infection and not feeling well yesterday they took all the information for prescriptions and never send it to the pharmacy this is very stupid and unacceptable behavior with the sick person

Went in on a Sunday morning, all three people I saw that worked there were incredibly professional and helpful and I was in and out with the prescription I needed in 15 minutes. Super comfortable and extremely clean as well. Great experience.

Walked in after calling the day before to make sure they accepted my insurance. Only one person ahead of me online. I was nicely greeted and my information was taken in less than 10 minutes. Barely sat down until I was called in shortly after. Asked about my symptoms by nurse who took my vitals ... doctor entered within 10 minutes to discuss my situation and examine me ... my blood was drawn and doctor returned to to do a final consult.Entire process I think maybe 40 minutes if that. Extremely professional and efficient. Went ove my blood results next afternoon over phone. 10/10 experience. Highly recommend!

The staff at the visit were very nice, professional and knowledgeable. What II am hot happy with is that I.have been waiting over 24 hrs for my sons strep culture results and the staff says they have no idea when we will receive them. At this point I have no idea if he needs antibiotics. I think the delay is too long to have an 8 year old wait to know what his treatment should be. I did receive the test results later that night and the staff promptly sent over the prescription to my pharmacy. Overall the staff were professional and the facility was nice.

Great experience I was seen fast and I was given the proper tests to diagnose me I had gone to Urgent Care and was told that my insurance would not cover the test that I needed but this place did that tests and it was fully covered. I knew the exact virus I was dealing with and was given proper instructions regarding my plan of care definitely this is going to be my go to place no more City MD.

I went into the new Urgent Care Center in Bay Ridge, Brooklyn NY with severe respiratory breathing problems and a cold.The staff were exceptional. They processed my medical insurance information quickly and I was seen by a PA in less than 30 minutes. I got my lab test results in less than 24 hours and a long with them, I received a follow up call from Urgent Care to see how Im doing.On the call, we made arrangements for me to pick up meds at a local store and for me to go back into the office to see a doctor at 9am Friday.I highly recommend the Bay Ridge Urgent Care as Ive experienced first hand their professionalism, care and effectiveness.First class, fit for VIPs

I went when my cold wasn’t improving to check it out. The staff was friendly and helpful got all the paperwork done before seeing the doctor. The doctor did several lab tests and made suggestions. It is my second visit very satisfied will go back if necessary.

I felt very comfortable and well taken care of. Everyone was cordial and helpful including reception, nurse and doctor. This was my second time going to the facility on 79th and 3rd in Bay Ridge. It was quiet and very quick both times so maybe it’s still a best kept secret. It’s comforting to know this place is available for unanticipated medical needs!!

On December 26, visited because I was not feeling too good and my regular dr was on vacation. Quick check in, spoke to Tina who took my vitals and we spoke about my symptoms. Then, I saw PA Moomitu, who was awesome. She thoroughly listened to the summary of all my symptoms, gave me great advice for OTC nasal sprays, continued with my exam, and I left with my prescription. The entire process, less than 90 min. I never felt rushed. Im glad this urgent care opened so close to my house, an asset to the community.

After going by City MD and seeing a crowded waiting room and a copay without insurance of $220. I was so happy that I came here instead where the office was so nice, no line, and I only paid $150 without insurance. Plus everyone from the reception staff to the medical assistant to the awesome nurse practitioner were so efficient and helpful and actually listened. They got me in and out, but also didnt rush me and let me use a nebulizer for 15 mins. They also did quick testing and overnight rapid testing that gave me an answer within 24 hours and all the meds I needed to feel better. Thank you so much for such a pleasant and efficient experience! This will be my go to stop in the future if needed again. Very thorough and pleasant, well trained staff!

We call they say they except my insurance.I get there they want to charge me $150 instead of my insurance, I don’t know if they trying to scam me or what. I’m used to them billing insurance at a later time I don’t know why they want to charge me.

I was wary of going to yet another walk in BUT this place is different. The PA Rachel was very thorough as was the medical assistant. The front staff was friendly and professional and the office was clean!!! I would definitely go back.

I had an emergency with some extreme pain and for various reasons the other places I checked didnt have the equipment or skills I needed. A phone call to check Centers and they said they were could accommodate me. I went and did. The PA (Stephen) was excellent.

The diagnosis was right on. Stephen Gamberg was very professional as well as his assistant. The Center is easily accessible. The young woman receptionist was kind and patient, since the system was down, and I had to return soon after. Overall, I would give it a good rating.

I brought my 7 year old for urgent care. They were incredibly professional; attentive, kind, and efficient. Every time I go there, they are quick to get you in. All staff and doctors are very pleasant and listen to you.

Don’t waste your time if you need X-rays. I checked the website before going to make sure that x-rays were performed and it said that they were. However, when I arrived after providing my insurance card and ID, and asked why I was at the location I was informed that this location does not in fact provide x-rays.Please fix your website to be more clear!

We took our son on a weekend as he was sick. The front office staff was attentive and the physician we saw was prompt, personable, and informative. This is the best urgent care experience we’ve had and will be our go-to urgent care.

The most important thing is to be able to ask questions and get answers from the doctor about the medication and the treatment options for the patient and the staff are very pleasant and friendly

DO NOT GO HERE - THEY DONT HAVE DOCTORS?! I had a TERRIBLE experience at this place and wish Id gone a few blocks further to CityMD. The nurse practitioner basically consulted Google the entire time I was in the room. I had normalish blood pressure in my left arm and a bulging vein. Had high pressure in the other arm. I asked for a doctor and THEY DONT HAVE DOCTORS. She told me most urgent cares dont have doctors (thats not true), and that I was just being anxious and that she has anxiety too. She wrapped my arm and sent me away with a bag of Benadryl. Its now a week and a half later and my arm is still messed up. I dont go to the doctor unless something is seriously wrong, and would never go here again or take my family here. Youve been warned.

As somebody who had to come here and spoke to my doctor and nurse about being in a state that was disoriented, anxious, and confused on account of a bad reaction to medication, I was met by service that was incredibly condescending, rude, and impatient and I am baffled that people who care for the public could treat people like this who are in states of stress and anxiety. Appalled by the rudeness of one male nurse in particular who took my information before speaking with the doctor, and pretty much shamed me for the state that I was in.

I had a really great experience! I was taken very quickly, the facility is brand new and incredibly clean, and the physician assistant I met with was very kind and knowledgeable. I highly recommend!

Excellent care. I saw a doctor on Saturday evening. got my test results early Sunday am. I had a question about the medication prescribed, and the doctor I saw, even though it was her day off, called me to answer my question on a Sunday.

This was the first time I’ve come to this center. My experience was great from the initial check in to being seen and having my prescription ready. Facility was clean and staff was very professional.

Was seen very quickly. Everyone was very nice and pleasant. The doctor listened to my needs and I was very pleased. I do recommend and will use again if needed.

The level of care was not good. Rapid Covid test (negative) & lab sent strep test (negative) is all they did. You would think if I came in with severe throat/ear irritation/inflammation they would do more. Nope. They asked to come back in to see the doctor for other tests. Why? 2nd charge to my insurance. Should have been done during 1st visit. I get better care and results at my regular doctor.Mind you this is a new facility and I figured I go since it was only a block away from my apt.

I made an appointment, arrived early with only 1 person there ahead of me and it was the slowest reception experience I ever had. I also was told I had a $75 co-pay even though my insurance specifically says on my card do not request payment at appointment (everything is done after the fact). I walked out because no one was explaining why I had to pay $75.

Been here a few times now and was hoping that the service would get better but they continue to disappoint as their nurse practitioners or PAs clearly do not want to be there and do the absolute minimum to figure out what the issue could be. You would get better urgent care at CityMD

Its great to see UC locally in Bay Ridge. Walked in to get some cough medicine and was out in 15 mins. Made it on time to Pharmacy before they closed.Super efficient on last minute meds after work.

Not a good experience for my 1st and last visit. I was told swab would be sent out to lab for several test such as Covid, Flu, strep etc. when I received results 2 days later they only submit it for Covid. They called back and apologized for the “misunderstanding” but that was clearly a miscommunication on their part to the lab. They don’t seem to care! Waste of my time and energy

Highly recommend! From check-in through exam, everything was seamless. I was taken in within 10 minutes of arrival. Everyone there was wonderful.

I had a pink eye i went to dr she gave me a eye cream. 5 days later i run out of it. I called for a refill. They said i had to go back to the clinic. So i went. They. Said they cant keep giving me medicine i m like why did you call me here then . And hey told me to go somewhere else !!

Quick check in. Less than 5 minutes before I was called in. Listened to my request and answered all my questions. In and out within 20 minutes with prescribed meds. Win win
