It was a little over a year ago that my mother had her surgery for a severe, Stage 4 uterine prolapse. We had the immense luck of finding a doctor as professional, perceptive, knowledgeable, and undoubtedly gifted as Dr. Gurshumov.Although I had many concerns, being that it was the first surgical procedure my mother would be having in her entire life, everything was arranged in an orderly manner by Dr. Gurshumovs office, a clinic that runs as smoothly as can be -- from the series of appointments for in-office tests, leading up to the day of the surgery, as well as post-surgery.Mount Sinai South Nassau Hospital was everything we couldve hoped for and more. The facility was immaculate and modern; the entire staff so incredibly gracious and caring. The moment we walked through those doors, I just knew that everything was going to be okay.A few day ago, we happily celebrated my mothers 70th birthday. Now she has a brand new lease on life, without something weighing her down. Gone are the constant trips to the bathroom. Goodbye, discomfort and spotting. No more staying at home and missing out on special occasions, because she is unable to walk without a prolapse getting in the way.If you or someone you know has been quietly suffering from a pelvic organ prolapse for years, no matter what stage you are in, I can assure you that there is relief to be found in the horizon. My mother had a surgery procedure done by Dr. Gurshumov. It was very stressful for her and a long needed procedure. This Doctor was absolutely excellent ! Dr. Gurshumov listens when I speak to him. He addresses all questions asked. It’s rare to find a doctor that actually cares. I’ve recommended him to my friend who may possibly need the same surgery I had. He has excellent bed side manner. He really goes above and beyond, personally handles things that other doctors would have the front desk staff execute. I’m grateful to have him as my doctor.

Dr. Emil Gurshumov is one of the best doctors I have ever met. He is very professional, polite, attentive, knowledgeable, spends a lot of time with the patient and the family member, explains in details the procedures and surgery the patient is going through. He performed a surgery on my elderly mother who was very anxious to go through that procedure. Doctor Gurshumov spent extra time to calm her down and explained the benefits of it as well as risks to decline it. The results are perfect, my mom is HAPPY. Thank you so much, Doctor. 0 stars if I could. This Emil doctor is another bozo I saw the beginning of this year. I have pudendal nerve issues thats made it felt like I had urine issues as well as genital discomfort etc. He doesnt know anything about his major , because as a urogynecologist he should have knowledge about the pudendal nerve. When I went to his office he doesnt close the door, he seems uninterested and in a rush to leave the place. I had asked him about gabapentin this fool dismissed any and all of my concerns and said to get my uterus removed. Between him and the dumb neurologist I saw they both are brainless quacks. All his unnecessary pills from bladder control pills to estrogen cream went in the garbage. How he got the little good reviews is beyond me, but then again everyones experiences are different. May all these quack doctors wind up getting the same symptoms, illnesses etc their patients have dealt with, that they have been insensitive to and dismissive in the name of Jesus

From the first day in office to the day of surgery he was professional and knowledgeable. Treated my mom with care, dignity and understanding. The office is very clean, the receptionists are very polite both over the phone and in the office, and I was seen fairly quickly. At first I was nervous and worried, but Dr. Gurshumov put me at ease right away. He is direct, humorous, trustworthy, and he explains everything clearly and thoroughly. Gave 1 star because I know he is an experienced “Doctor” But would love to give “0” for his bedside manner. I’ve never heard of a doctor who would just rush out from the room after spending 2 minutes with the patient because he has “other patients to see” and has No time to listen to what you have to say. I asked for help with acute cystitis, a quick examination, a bill for thousands of dollars to the insurance company, no one saw the test results, they didn’t show me the results, and there was zero help, I get sick and suffer further, this is an office to deceive and extract money from the insurance company and don’t care about the patients! I asked reset the test results by email, they replied that your email doesn’t work, and when the bills arrived from the insurance company, most of the tests weren’t even done to me!

First time went to urologist. I have problems with urination. He gave me ...cream which doesnt do anything. Now going to another urologist, he is laughing....he found small stone and acid in my urine. Im so offended that I trusted you. Now they found a stone and my urine is not normal.
